Anthropic’s next Mythos model may already be trained and undergoing safety testing — but the Mythos 6 leak is nowhere near as confirmed as some headlines make it sound.
A recent report claims Anthropic has completed internal training on a next-generation model tentatively called Mythos 6, or possibly Mythos 6.1. There is currently no official confirmation from Anthropic and no independent second source confirming the report.
But the leak gets more interesting when you compare it with Anthropic’s previous Mythos releases.
In this video, I break down exactly what the leak claims, why Anthropic’s release pattern makes it plausible, what Mythos 6 could mean for AI cybersecurity capabilities, and the major access restrictions almost everyone discussing the leak is overlooking.
We also look at what we DON’T know — including benchmarks, pricing, context window, availability, and even whether the Mythos 6 name is final.
If Mythos 6 is real, the biggest question may not be how powerful it is.
It may be whether anyone can actually access it.
